EuroMarine Robots Project Plenary Meeting in Toulon

The third Plenary Assembly of the European EUroMarineRobots –EUMR- (Marine Robotics Research Infrastructure Network) Project, which objective is to develop a large number of vehicles, tools and infrastructure in order to be available to the scientific community and research and development groups through transnational access, was celebrated in the Head Office of Ifremer in Toulon (France).

EUMarineRobots (EUMR) proposes an access-infrastructure for the deployment of a full-range of aerial, surface and sub-surface marine robotic assets, the combined value of which is far greater than the sum of their parts. The EUMR Project, reference number 731103, is funded by the European H2020 programme through call for projects H2020-INFRAIA-2017-1. It is scheduled to last 36 months with the participation of fifteen partners from Portugal, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Belgium and Croatia.

PLOCAN offers two autonomous marine vehicles in order to develop observation missions during 2019 and 2020, included in this second call. Applications may be submitted in https://www.eumarinerobots.eu/tna-2ndcall
