The Canary Islands Employment Service awars PLOCAN for its best practices on the management of cooperation projects

Premio Servicio Canario de Empleo

The Canary Islands Employment Service awarded PLOCAN for its best practices on the management of the projects ESTRAMAR and MacSIMAR, which are both funded by the Operational Programme PCT-MAC 2007-2013, during the workshop “Employment and training initiatives in the fields of blue and green economy identified in the EU Outermost Regions (ORs)” celebrated in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and organised by the Grow RUP Project.

The Grow RUP Project is led by the Canary Islands Employment Service and it includes the island of Martinique and Reunion Island. Grow RUP boosts SMEs competitiveness and entrepreneurship and targets long-term unemployed people in the ORs, and it supports green and blue growth with a view to deliver more resource efficient and sustainable economy activities in those territories.

Certificates were given by the Canary Islands Employment Service to different entities in order to recognise their success in management of cooperation projects, after the roundtable “Ideas for an action plan to promote blue and green employment” where PLOCAN participated.
